Craters Classic 2026

Get ready for the Craters Classic happening April 18th 2026!

New Zealand's Supervolcanic, Craters MTB Park's pumice-based trails make for an epic day of fun, no matter the weather!

All 3 distances are returning plus our Kids Craters Event on Friday 17th April.

All our courses are designed to showcase just some of the 60km of single track network available in Craters MTB Park and the surrounding Huka trails.

The event is run by Bike Taupō, a charity organisation, now 30 years strong! Meaning that all profits are returned to track building and maintenance.

We start and finish on the stunning grounds of the Wairakei Resort which makes for a thrilling start and finish! We reckon this could be our best event yet!

Join us for a great ride or just come and sit by the hot pool and enjoy some great racing, great food and entertainment.
