- **Event Description**: Start your Christmas countdown with an afternoon of winter music and words. Voce are back with their fourth Advent concert. It's a programme of festive choral music, both sacred and secular, and the choir will provide harmonies for you to join in on some classic carols. The music will be ornamented with baubles of wintery poetry and prose read by special guests. Feedback from the last 3 years has been great, so we hope this is becoming an essential part of your festive plans. 

Musical highlights this year include Eric Whitacre's heavenly Glow, The Christmas Song conjuring up images of chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Sia's uptempo Snowman (no, not THAT one!), and a fabulous Pentatonix arrangement of Away In A Manger. This year we have two brand new compositions by Voce members: Ann Philcox's Bless The Lord O My Soul and an arrangement of Tracey Thorn (Everything But The Girl)'s Joy by Amber Packer-Hughes. As ever, we'll be finishing off with something fun to leave you with a smile.

After the show you're invited to join us for hot drinks and mince pies - all included in the ticket price.
