Sankofa Poetry is a call to remember and a call to feel.
On February 28th, we gather for a sacred evening where spoken word becomes memory, medicine, and movement. Rooted in the spirit of Sankofa, this night honors the past while giving language to the present through poetry, performance, and collective reflection.
Featuring the powerful voices of @amandasheaallday Amanda Shea and @herisathetraveler Herisa The Traveler, alongside an open mic for community storytellers, this is more than a poetry night. It is a spiritual artistic merging of where we have been and where we are becoming.
