This is an evening worth dressing up for. Southern Sinfonia brings Vivaldi’s beloved Four Seasons with their 12 piece orchestra to Taunton Brewhouse — not as a formal concert, but as a proper occasion: unhurried, welcoming and genuinely special.

Each season unfolds alongside a handful of much-loved short works, with musicians introducing the music from the stage. The result is a programme that feels personal and alive — vivid storytelling, extraordinary playing and the warmth of a room full of people who came for something a little out of the ordinary.

Arrive to cheese and wine. Leave having heard one of the greatest pieces ever written, performed at its very best.

This concert is part of Fit at 50 — our campaign to modernise Taunton Brewhouse ahead of our 50th anniversary in 2027. Every donation goes directly towards upgrading our auditorium lighting to a state-of-the-art LED system, alongside a £527,000 award from Arts Council England.

We need to raise a final £20,000. The people who join us on 7 June will be part of making that happen and part of a milestone moment in this theatre’s story.
