This 3 hour workshop is the perfect gentle introduction to SILC, for Ceroc/MJ dancers who want to feel more comfortable and competent dancing to slower tempos and smoother music. This isnโt learning a whole new dance style - itโs about adapting your existing dance skills and moves, using SILC techniques to soften movements, improve connection and smooth out weight transfer

โข What makes SILC different from standard Ceroc (in a simple, easy-to-understand way)
โข The SILC essentials (basic steps) and a handful of SILC foundation moves
โข SILC techniques to adapt familiar Ceroc moves/movements to fit slower tempos
โข How to slow things down without feeling stuck or awkward

This workshop must be pre-booked - please do not turn up on the day without a booking. This helps us prepare for you, and allows us to maintain a healthy gender/role balance so you can get the most out of your workshop.

This workshop is not suitable for Ceroc beginners. Dancers attending this workshop should be learning at intermediate level or higher, and be able to competently and comfortably dance in general freestyle.
