The Professional Community brings together colleagues from schools across Devon, Somerset, Plymouth, Torbay, and the wider region to network, connect with leading practice, hear from expert speakers, and provide mutual support.Our aim is to provide a termly professional community meeting. Agendas for the meetings are based on feedback from members of the community about the areas they would most like to hear about, and therefore focus on themes that are directly relevant to them. There is a heavy emphasis on sharing ideas, practice and strategies that are having the real impact in schools today.Professional Community LeadAlan was until recently the Headteacher of Uffculme School; consistently one of the highest performing comprehensive schools in the South West region. He has a strong track record in curriculum and assessment having previously served for several years as a senior leader with oversight of these areas.
