Step aboard festively decorated heritage carriages for a magical ride behind a steam locomotive through the scenic Quantock Hills from Bishops Lydeard to Williton and back.
A gift from Santa and refreshments will be waiting for you at your table, with the man himself visiting during the journey.
Please ensure you make us aware of any dietary requirements at the time of booking - please specify how many members of your group the dietary requirement affects and whether they are an adult or child.
Tickets must be pre-booked as seats for each train are limited and are expected to sell quickly.
Registered carers may travel for free where a seat only will be provided.
Additional snacks and beverages will be available at the welcome marquee in Bishops Lydeard.
Please note, only assistance dogs are allowed on our festive trains. Please advise us when making your booking if you need to bring an assistance dog with you.

Important: Should you place multiple bookings and wish to have your groups seated together, kindly inform us in the booking notes or by emailing

We will where possible accommodate requests to be seated together providing we are informed in time before we create our seating plans. We will ensure that all tickets within a single booking are seated together. Advance notice of any special access requirements for your party is also appreciated.
Please be aware that this service departs from Bishops Lydeard Station on the West Somerset Railway. Owing to the high demand for our services, we cannot guarantee accommodation on an alternative service should you miss your train or arrive at an incorrect departure point.
