Pottery Gingerbread House

Join us this October half-term for a festive and creative Pottery Gingerbread House Workshop, perfect for young people aged 12+ and adults alike! In this fun and hands-on session, you’ll be guided by ceramicist Helen McCormick as you learn how to build and decorate your very own charming gingerbread house using traditional hand building techniques.

Whether you’re new to pottery or have some experience, this workshop is designed to help you tap into your creativity and bring your unique gingerbread house to life. Helen will lead you step-by-step through the process of shaping the clay, adding delightful details like windows, doors, and festive embellishments. You’ll also have the opportunity to decorate your house with intricate textures, creating a piece that will make the perfect holiday decoration!
