Dive into Somerset's prehistoric history this February Half Term!

Step into a colder chapter of history and discover creatures from the Ice Age with lots of fun activities including:

• Learn about the museum’s internationally important Ice Age bone collection, featuring bears, bison, wolves, hyena and reindeer

• See real Ice Age bones including items not normally on display!

• Storytelling sessions with Blabbermouth Storytelling at 11.00 am, 12.00 pm, 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, and 3.30 pm sharing the incredible story of the Banwell Bone Caves

• Enjoy family friendly activities exploring this fascinating frozen past

• Make a candle to take home (£1, Thursday only)

• Woolly Mammoth craft – £2 per child

Plus, follow the Woolly Mammoth Trail around the museum – available all week! £1 per child.

All activities are drop in, no booking required.

Perfect for curious kids and grown ups alike, our Prehistoric Planet discovery days are bursting with hands on activities, stories and prehistoric fun!
