Step into a colder chapter of history and discover creatures from the Ice Age with lots of fun activities including:
• Learn about the museum’s internationally important Ice Age bone collection, featuring bears, bison, wolves, hyena and reindeer
• See real Ice Age bones including items not normally on display!
• Storytelling sessions with Blabbermouth Storytelling at 11.00 am, 12.00 pm, 1.30 pm, 2.30 pm, and 3.30 pm sharing the incredible story of the Banwell Bone Caves
• Enjoy family friendly activities exploring this fascinating frozen past
• Make a candle to take home (£1, Thursday only)
• Woolly Mammoth craft – £2 per child
Plus, follow the Woolly Mammoth Trail around the museum – available all week! £1 per child.
All activities are drop in, no booking required.
