- **Event Description**: Wow! Drop in to the Museum of Somerset every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for some amazing science summer holiday fun! 

?Join paper and print artists extraordinaire Liz Bath and Ness Robinson of INK JAM to help us create a 3D sculptural cardboard banquet fit for a king or queen. The centrepieces will include huge tiered, towering cakes and giant overspilling bowls of fruit.

Decorate a plate with iconic blue and white delftware inspired designs, create sandwiches with your favourite fillings, pizza slices with imaginative toppings and creative cupcakes with beautiful colours. ?

Over the three days the art installation will grow, evolve and expand. 

Thinking about food will make you hungry, so there’s also the opportunity to decorate a biscuit to take home. 

Plus, take part in our Wow! Amazing Science Summer Trail around the museum and win a treat! The trail is £1 each.

?Visit our exhibition ‘Wow! Amazing Science in Children’s Books!’ and explore the wonders of the world around us as we journey from outer space to the inner workings of the human body! Discover incredible art that brings science to life in this family-friendly exhibition in partnership with Events of Wonder. ✨

?Explore the Museum of Somerset, set inside Taunton’s historic 12th-century castle! Discover 9 themed galleries, including the Somerset Military Museum, and journey from prehistoric times to today. 

☕ Afterwards, relax at the Courtyard Café with freshly made local food and drink, from light lunches to afternoon teas and cake. 

✨ Entry to the museum is FREE (suggested donation £5).
⏰ The museum is open 10.00 am – 5.00 pm, Tuesday – Saturday 
(including Bank Holiday Mondays).
