Discover the healing power of the land at our upcoming Mi’kmaq Medicine Walk led by Nicole Porter, a Mikmaq knowledge keeper from Amlamgog First Nation (Fort Folly), New Brunswick.
This immersive experience, a highlight of our 2026 Malagash Festival weekend, goes far beyond basic plant identification. Participants will explore the profound connection between nature and human well-being, diving into holistic wellness and traditional Indigenous approaches to health and healing. 

Presented by the Wellness Through Wilderness initiative of the Malagash Area Heritage Association.

• Location:  Start at the Malagash Community Hall, 1926 North Shore Road; we may travel to a few places from there.

• Cost: nothing, but donations appreciated.
