TARTU JUNIOR CLIMBING OPEN

Tartu Junior Climbing Open is Ronimistehas’s biggest event of the year and has already become the largest youth climbing festival in this part of Europe.
Every year TJCO brings together more than 200 young climbers from different countries - Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Norway, Georgia, Turkey, Poland and beyond - for a weekend full of climbing, challenge and community.
In 2026, TJCO takes the next step forward. The festival keeps the well-loved combined format, where every participant competes in both bouldering and rope climbing, but this year we introduce an exciting new addition - FINALS for all main age groups (U11 to U19).
We are full of energy to make this year’s event the best one yet.

- Combined format (Bouldering + Rope climbing)
- All competitors participate in both disciplines.
- Finals: U11, U13, U15, U17, U19
- Top 6 athletes in combined ranking advance to finals
👉 BOULDER (QUALIFICATION)
- 12 boulders per age group
- Climbing time: 2 hours
👉 ROPE CLIMBING (QUALIFICATION)
- 2 routes per age group
- Top-rope belay: U9, U11, U13
- Lead belay: U15, U17, U19
👉 BOULDER (FINALS)
- 3 boulders per age group
- 4 minutes per problem
👉 ROPE CLIMBING (FINALS)
- 1 route per age group
- Lead climbing (all age groups)
- Time limit: 5 minutes

TARTU JUNIOR CLIMBING OPEN

Tartu Junior Climbing Open on Ronimistehase aasta suurim sündmus ning on juba kujunenud suurimaks noorte ronimisfestivaliks siinpool Euroopat.
Igal aastal toob TJCO kokku üle 200 noore ronija erinevatest riikidest - Eestist, Lätist, Leedust, Soomest, Norrast, Gruusiast, Türgist, Poolast ja mujalt - nädalavahetuseks, mis on täis ronimist, väljakutseid ja kogukonnatunnet.
2026. aastal astub TJCO sammu edasi. Festival säilitab armastatud kombineeritud formaadi, kus iga osaleja võistleb nii boulderdamises kui köieronimises, kuid sel aastal lisandub põnev uuendus - FINAALID kõigile põhilistele vanusegruppidele (U11–U19).
Oleme täis energiat, et teha selle aasta üritusest senini parim!
