Take Thati pärand pole mitte ainult oma pikkuse poolest märkimisväärne, vaid ka selle tõttu, et nende muusika puudutab miljonite inimeste südameid. Praegu on bändis Gary Barlow, Howard Donald ja Mark Owen, originaalkoosseisu kuulusid ka Robbie Williams ja Jason Orange.

Take Thati kataloogi kuuluvad mõned britpopi kõige tuntumad lood, näiteks “Back for Good”, “Never Forget”, “Pray”, “Relight My Fire”, “Patience”, “Shine”, “Greatest Day” ja “Rule the World”. Viimast esitasid nad 2012. aastal Londoni olümpiamängude lõputseremoonial olümpiatule kustutamise ajal, pakkudes unustamatu elamuse miljonitele inimestele.

Vähe on neid popansambleid, kes on suutnud oma elus nn teist peatükki nii edukalt vedada kui Take That. Robbie Williams lahkus bändist 1995. aastal ning Take That läks laiali aasta hiljem. Dokumentaal ja parimate hittide välja andmine tõi aga Barlow’, Donaldi, Oweni ja Orange’i kümme aastat hiljem taas kokku. 2006. aasta comeback-album “Beautiful World” tähendas grupi jaoks erakordse perioodi algust, sellele järgnes 2008. aasta väga populaarne “The Circus”.

Williams tuli vanade sõprade juurde tagasi 2010. aasta “Progressi” tarbeks, mis oli esimene album, millel sai kuulda kõiki viit originaalliiget taas üheskoos laulmas. Sellest sai tol hetkel 21. sajandi kõige kiiremini müüv album ning plaadi promotuur lõi Take Thati enda püstitatud rekordi kui kõige kiiremini välja müüdud turnee.

2014. aastast saadik on Take That püsivalt esinenud triona – Barlow, Donald ja Owen. Nende üheksas stuudioalbum “This Life” anti välja 2023. aasta novembris ning seda saatis tohutu kommertsedu, tehes müügikiiruselt silmad ette sellistele staaridele nagu Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran ja The Rolling Stones.

Hetkel on aga Take Thati silmad suunatud tulevikku. Praegu on nad “The Circus Live” tuuril, kuid alustavad samas ka uut muusikalist peatükki. Nende kümnes stuudioalbum peaks ilmuma 2026. aasta lõpus. Esimene singel – “You’re a Superstar” – avaldati selle aasta märtsis, sellele järgnes juulis “Sweet July”.

Tartus ootab fänne niisiis õhtu täis vanu unustamatuid hitte, mille sekka saab kuulda ka uut loomingut. Take That on alati elanud lavadel esinemise nimel ning nad jätkavad seda teekonda. Et sellest saab osa nüüd ka Eestis, on harukordne võimalus!

Take That esineb Tartu Lauluväljakul kolmapäeval, 16. juunil 2027. Live Nationi kontsertklubi liikmetele algab eelmüük 3. septembril kell 10. Avalik piletimüük läheb lahti 4. septembril kell 10 Piletilevi veebilehel ja müügipunktides.

One of the most successful and beloved British pop groups of all time, Take That, are coming to Estonia with their European tour “Dreamers” next summer. Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen will take the stage at Tartu Song Festival Grounds on Wednesday, 16 June 2027, bringing more than 35 years of pop history, era-defining hits and new music to one of Estonia’s most iconic open-air venues.

Formed in Manchester in 1990, Take That became one of the defining British pop acts of their generation and have since built a career remarkable not only for its longevity, but for its ability to find new audiences across several decades. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, while Robbie Williams and Jason Orange were also members of the original five-piece line-up.

Their catalogue includes some of British pop’s most enduring songs, from “Back for Good”, “Never Forget”, “Pray” and “Relight My Fire” to “Patience”, “Shine”, “Greatest Day” and “Rule the World”. The latter provided one of the defining musical moments of the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony, when Take That performed the song as the Olympic Flame was extinguished.

Few pop groups have managed a second chapter as successful as Take That. Robbie Williams left the group in 1995 and the band split the following year, but a documentary and greatest-hits release brought Barlow, Donald, Owen and Orange back together a decade later. Their 2006 comeback album “Beautiful World” began an extraordinary new period for the group, followed by the hugely successful “The Circus” in 2008.
Williams returned for 2010’s “Progress”, the first album featuring all five original members since 1995. It became the fastest-selling album of the 21st century in the UK at the time, while the accompanying Progress Live tour broke Take That’s own record for the fastest-selling tour in UK history.

Since 2014, Take That have continued as the trio of Barlow, Donald and Owen. Their ninth studio album, “This Life”, released in November 2023, delivered another major commercial success. Within days of release it recorded the biggest opening-week sales by a British act in the UK that year, ahead of new releases from Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran and The Rolling Stones.

Take That are meanwhile firmly focused on what comes next. In 2026 the band returned to the road with The Circus Live, revisiting the spectacular concept of their record-breaking 2009 tour, while also beginning a new musical chapter. Their tenth studio album is due in late 2026, with the first new single “You’re a Superstar” released in March 2026 and followed by “Sweet July” in July.

The combination of new music and a catalogue spanning more than three decades brings Take That to Tartu in the summer of 2027 as a band whose story is still being written. Their concerts have long been central to that story: from record-breaking UK stadium tours to royal celebrations, the London Olympics and performances for audiences around the world.

Take That will perform at Tartu Song Festival Grounds on Wednesday, 16 June 2027. Preseale for Live Nation Concert Club members begins on Thursday, 3 September at 10:00 local time. General ticket sales begin on Friday, 4 September at 10:00 on Piletilevi’s sales points and website.
