On Pööripäev, the Winter Solstice, the year reaches its deepest darkness —
a moment when the light begins its slow return.
Across cultures, this longest night carries a special force.
In India it is evoked as Kali Raatri —
the night of transformation,
where energy gathers, shadows shift,
and something new begins to rise.
On this night, the dance floor becomes our fire.
A warm, pulsing room where the rhythms carry us,
where movement shakes off old weight,
where we step out of the darkest tunnel
and into the first spark of returning light.
