Aleksander on the History of Love
This week, BA student Aleksander is going to talk about the concept of love through four historical figures: Plato, Aristotle, Nietzsche, and Freud. The idea is to show that each conception of love is an answer to each thinkers' particular problems with life and society. The presentation will be followed by a group discussion on what love means to us and what it reveals about us.
