There were a lot of left turns (or 180s?) that led me to this very unexpected place. If you'd told me eleven years ago that I'd be making plates, shipping them internationally, and working with some of the best chefs in the world, I would have laughed at you. To say I'm grateful for this little niche of the world I've found myself in is a massive understatement.To celebrate, and to say thank you to all of you who've supported me along the way, we're turning everyone's favorite biannual 2nds sale into a blowout.On top of our usual 2nds and overstock (already overflowing the shelves), we've turned the literal tons of reclaim clay we've collected over the years into an incredible array of pieces. Hundreds of our signature plates and bowls, made in reclaim clay and usually priced at a premium, priced as seconds just to say thank you.We're also bringing back some of your favorites: Elephant Mugs, Octopus Mugs, 'Fabric' Platters, Jupiter Vases, Sea Urchin Bowls, and a bunch of brand new designs I'm excited to share.FoodBeekman Alehouse will be making pizzas on site. Same clay, same glazes, same hands that made those.Just more of them than our shelves can hold. Anyway. We need space.If you've been here before, you know the drill. If not, here's the scoop: our plates and bowls aren't always perfect — freckles, dimples, shiny spots, the occasional wrinkle.Imperfect? Yes. Still beautiful? Absolutely.Since we can't sell them as firsts, we mark them down 30–50% for our in-person sale. It only happens twice a year, and things get a little wild [ consider yourself warned! ]HOSPITALITY OVERSTOCKWe create specialty custom plates for some of the best restaurants in the world. Every piece doesn't come out perfectly, so we always make more than we need — this is what we call Hospitality Overstock. Over time, those shelves fill up and we need to make space for more.So if you're looking to snag some really cool, one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic pieces, or want to fill your kitchen cabinets with some perfectly imperfect plates and bowls, now is your chance. and  will also be hosting a sample sale during the event.
