Rip Roaring Success summer special with support from Joe Cainen

The Rip Roaring Success stylishly blend western swing, rockabilly and bluegrass to deliver a performance of lively energetic string music with charm and charisma. Combining slap style double bass, swing fiddle, rhythmic guitar and Sweet harmonies, their skilled performance will make you think you're in an authentic Texas dance hall. Expect an interesting choice of covers as well as original songs about honky-tonks, bygone pharmaceuticals and misplaced leisurewear.

*Their set may also include an occasional 90s dance anthem or two. (If your venue has no dancing capacity this engaging trio make for excellent viewing and listening entertainment)*



Joe is often to be seen lurking in the audience at Manley. He enjoys and promotes live music, and is a “regular” at Warrington Folk Song Club, Room At The Top Folk Club (Newburgh, Lancs.) and Cheshire Folk, Winsford. Mercifully, he does not write his own material and so can pass on the best from the unaccompanied traditional to the contemporary (with finger-style guitar) via an occasional music hall hit. He has promised not to bring his Stylophone. Be prepared to sing your heart out!
