Perfect for beginners/intermediate painters and creators!

Sacred Geometry is the study of geometric patterns, shapes, and proportions that are believed to hold symbolic and spiritual significance. These patterns are often found in nature, art, architecture, and religious texts. The idea behind sacred geometry is that certain geometric shapes and symbols have a universal meaning and can help us connect to a higher power or divine source. By studying these patterns, we can gain a deeper understanding of the universe and our place within it.

This workshop is designed as an abbreviated introductory watercolor class, using traditional methods and techniques to help level up your creative skills. 

You will learn some of the basic 101 watercolor techniques, such as:
Wet on Wet
Wet on Dry
Gradient washes
Color Blending 
Lifting off paint
And much much more!

After we learn the basics of watercolor, you can express yourself using patterns and shapes to create your own unique sacred geometry design/collage. 

Sacred geometry and mandala stencils will be provided for easy outlines, with plenty of room for each individual to add more details and create their own custom design. Or feel free to take your creativity on a journey and create your own mandala from scratch! All skill levels welcome!! 

Whether you find yourself drawn to the Flower of Life, Mandalas, or create your own geometric patterns. Let your intuitive creativity guide you and put your newfound watercolor knowledge to the test, to see what beautiful masterpiece will appear on your canvas!

This class does not require any artistic skill or experience – only a desire to create, have fun, and go with the flow. This class will help you to integrate your own individual style and flare, as you’re being guided throughout this fun and playful watercolor class. All experience levels welcome! 

This series will be led by Kelly Gene Rye who has over 25 years experience in the art world. She specializes in all things art and loves letting her creative passions sing on her canvas. She’s spent many years teaching both youth and adult workshops. Her goal is to help guide individuals through their fears of art making, creating a fun and safe space for all to express themselves freely. Kelly’s current passion has been around the spiritual aspects of art, using intuition and higher guides to express oneself freely. While also clearing and letting go of stuck and stagnant energy from the body. So come ready to be yourself and let go of anything you have been holding onto physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

This workshop is a judgment free zone. No experience needed. Just bring yourself, a smile, and some clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy in. 

If you have your own watercolor and art supplies, please feel free to bring. However, all supplies will be provided: quality watercolor paper, watercolor palette paints, paint markers, brushes, music and good vibes. 

Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door if space is available.
