Biofield Tuning is a form of energy medicine that uses sound waves produced by tuning-fork vibrations to retune the body out of patterns of stress and tension. During a session, a client lies fully clothed on a table as tuning forks are activated to scan the body, smooth out any tension, and provide release. ​​Biofield Tuning is based on the premise that the human biofield — the energy field that surrounds our bodies — is inextricably connected to our conscious and subconscious minds, including all our memories. The term biofield refers to our body’s electrical system in its entirety - both the electric current that runs through our bodies and the magnetic field that surrounds them. ​​All physical, mental and emotional disorders can be perceived as “dissonance” in our energy fields. Biofield Tuning can diminish and resolve this dissonance and, in doing so, alleviate or even eradicate the corresponding physical, mental, or emotional symptoms.​ When the practitioner encounters a turbulent area, he/she continues to activate the tuning fork and hold it in that specific spot.
