- **Event Description**: A parade will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 to celebrate America's 250th Birthday! We will march from in front of William O. Schaefer School on Lester Drive, making a right onto Independence Avenue and then another right onto Western Highway and straight to the German Masonic Grounds. There will be a brief ceremony at the grounds to commemorate the occasion, with Rita Harvey singing the National Anthem, and beginning at 12:00 pm, the crowd will be entertained by the music of Eighth Grade Science, the Georgia 5 and Joe D'Urso and the Stone Caravan Band.   Entrance into the park is free, there will be games to keep the children entertained and food and beverages will be available for purchase.  For further information, please send an email to orangetown250@orangetown.com.  See you on the avenue and down in the German Masonic Park on July 4, 2026!
