- **Event Description**: Bella the Brave is excited to announce its major fundraising event for 2026, Run for a Cure, which is set to be held at the beautiful Millenium Esplanade at Tannum Sands on Sunday 19 April 2026. 

This family friendly event aims to cater for all ages and abilities with 4 distances to choose from: 2.5km, 5km, 10km and 21.1km. Irrespective of the distance, participants will be treated to a fast flat course with a shimmering ocean backdrop. In conjunction with the event there is children's entertainment, a sausage sizzle, multi-draw raffle and other prizes and giveaways. Participants registered for the 5km, 10km and 21.1km events will receive a finisher's medal.

6:00am - Race precinct opens
6:00am - Bib collection for 10km and 21.1km events
6:30am - Pre-race briefing for 10km and 21.1km events 
6:35am - 21.1km race start
6:40am - 10km race start 
7:00am - Bib collection for 2.5km and 5km events 
8:00am - Family entertainment starts 
8:45am - Warm up with Immy's Yoga for 2.5km and 5km events
8:55am - Pre-race briefing for 2.km and 5km events 
9:00am - 2.5km and 5km race start 
10:00am - Presentations and prize draws
