Ready for some fresh air, muddy trails, and a good laugh along the way? ?
Join me for a relaxed 6-mile trail run through the beautiful Pooley Country Park — a hidden gem packed with nature, history, and a few surprises! ?

We’ll weave our way through woodland paths, past shimmering pools from the old mining days, and along the peaceful Coventry Canal. One-third of the park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so there’s plenty to spot as we run.

The highlight? Climbing the park’s famous colliery spoil heap at the start (don’t worry, we’ll take it steady!) — now part of the trail route with panoramic views across four counties. At the top, we’ll check out the incredible “Gold Leaf: Buried Sunlight” sculpture — a 12-metre-high golden beacon that’s as stunning as the views. 

Whether you’re new to trail running or just love exploring new places, this one’s not to be missed! Lace up, come along, and let’s have some off-road fun together! ?‍♀️?
