Soul Power tarjoilee musiikkia G Livelabin aurinkoisella terassilla klo 17-20 ennen Groovy Eyes -konsertin aloitusta, ja jatkaa levyjen pyörittämistä myös konsertin päätyttyä. DJ-setti on maksuton.

Soul Power leaps over musical boundaries just like the evening’s band, Groovy Eyes.

The nearly limitless rhythmic repertoire of DJ Kallio and DJ Okapi is rooted in soul and funk, complemented by jazz, afrobeat, salsa, samba, reggae, and blues. On May Day Eve, plenty of airtime is also given to guitar- and saxophone-driven rhythm & blues originating from New Orleans, which forms a major part of Groovy Eyes’ sound.

Soul Power will be spinning music on the sunny G Livelab terrace from 5–8 PM before the Groovy Eyes concert, and will continue playing records after the show as well. The DJ set is free of charge.
