Tätä merkkipaalua juhlistaakseen suomalainen Room Full Of Hendrix lähtee laajalle "60 Years of Jimi Hendrix" -kiertueelle. Alkuvuodesta 2026 ensimmäisen Suomen kiertueensa tehnyt Room Full Of Hendrix onnistui valloittamaan konserttiyleisöt pääosin loppuunmyydyillä keikoillaan mm. Helsingissä, Tampereella ja Porvoossa. Yleisöpalaute oli jokaiselta bändin keikalta ylitsevuotavan hehkuttavaa. Erityistä on se, että jokainen Room Full Of Hendrix -konsertti on erilainen, koska biisilista vaihtuu keikkakohtaisesti ja sisältää paljon improvisaatiota Hendrixin hengessä. Syksyn kiertue tarjoaa yleisölle sukelluksen Jimi Hendrixin sähköiseen maailmaan – aina psykedeelisestä bluesista räjähtävään rock-energiaan. Ohjelmistossa kuullaan klassikoita kuten Purple Haze, Voodoo Child ja Hey Joe, mutta myös harvinaisempia helmiä Hendrixin lyhyeltä, mutta vaikutusvaltaiselta uralta. "Hendrix ei ollut vain kitaristi, hän oli visionääri, jonka vaikutus kuuluu kaikessa nykypäivän musiikissa. Haluamme kunnioittaa tätä perintöä tuomalla mahdollisimman autenttisen ja intensiivisen elämyksen suomalaisyleisölle", Juho 'Kihara' Pitkänen kommentoi. To celebrate this milestone, the Finnish band Room Full Of Hendrix will embark on an extensive “60 Years of Jimi Hendrix” tour. In early 2026, Room Full Of Hendrix completed their first Finnish tour, successfully captivating audiences with mostly sold-out shows in cities such as Helsinki, Tampere, and Porvoo. Audience feedback from every performance was overwhelmingly enthusiastic. What makes the band especially unique is that each Room Full Of Hendrix concert is different: the setlist changes for every show and includes a significant amount of improvisation in the spirit of Hendrix. The autumn tour offers audiences a deep dive into the electric world of Jimi Hendrix—from psychedelic blues to explosive rock energy. The program features classics such as Purple Haze, Voodoo Child, and Hey Joe, as well as rarer gems from Hendrix’s short but highly influential career. “Hendrix wasn’t just a guitarist—he was a visionary whose influence can be heard in all modern music. We want to honor this legacy by bringing as authentic and intense an experience as possible to Finnish audiences,” comments Juho 'Kihara' Pitkänen. Special attention has been given on the tour to younger audiences: several concerts will be open to all ages, allowing fans of every generation to experience the magic of this guitar legend. The concert has an intermission. STUDENT TICKETS If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 25 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts. Please show your student card when purchasing student tickets. The concert has no age limit. Children under school age can enter gigs free of charge.
