Ready to discover how delicious and energizing plant-powered living can be? Join us for a two-hour (plus) adventure into the world of Whole Food, Plant-Based eating — no kale-only diets required!
During the first half, we’ll explore the why and how of eating more plants. You’ll learn where to find all those essential nutrients, the science-backed health benefits of plant-based eating, and how to get started — for yourself and your family. We’ll also bust a few common myths (yes, you’ll get enough protein!) and share easy ways to sneak more veggies into your everyday meals.
Then it’s time to treat your taste buds!
Watch Karen whip up some mouthwatering plant-based goodies right before your eyes — and of course, you’ll get to sample everything and take home the recipes to recreate the magic yourself.
Bonus: Bring your own reusable plate, bowl, utensils, cup, and napkin to help reduce waste — and you’ll get a special take-home treat as our thank-you!

Meet Karen!
Karen’s plant-based journey began in 2019 after a personal health wake-up call — and she hasn’t looked back since! Her only regret? Not starting sooner. With a passion for helping others live healthier, happier lives, Karen has shared her expertise on topics like Mindfulness, Meditation, Stress Management, and Plant-Based Eating at community and national levels.
A Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 30 years of experience in the helping professions, Karen is also a certified yoga instructor who teaches a weekly Gentle/Beginner Yoga class at the Lotus Pond. She’s currently expanding her skills through a 300-hour advanced Yoga Teacher Training program.
