Description: 

In the Clearing is a 75-minute all-levels yoga pop-up for anyone who has ever

found comfort, courage, or community in the music of Taylor Swift. Practicing between the
trees at Lotus Pond, clearing away noise, with her music as the path there. We'll move
through an intentional practice set entirely to her songs, with moments woven in for your
own creative and artistic expression. More than a playlist class, this is a gathering and a
chance to be in the room with people who believe, as we do, that goodness and kindness
are worth practicing, on and off the mat. All bodies, all levels, all welcome.

[Portion of proceeds will be given to the Cat Passionate village, a non-profit that supports
feral cats.]

About Your Teacher:

A ‘Swiftie after 50,’ Karen Frost, came to this class the way most good things arrive —

through genuine love. As the mother of two daughters who share her devotion to Taylor
Swift's music, she has witnessed firsthand the way an artist can become a kind of common
language between generations, between strangers, between people who might otherwise
never find each other. Her admiration runs deeper than the songs — it is rooted in who
Taylor Swift is as a person, and what she models for the world: creative courage, fierce
kindness, and the willingness to keep showing up. Karen brings all of that into her teaching,
and into this room.
