Those who complete the course receive their OSHA 10 Hour card. The class is intended to provide workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards. This is a perfect course for your staff who work in the field, aspire to become site safety and health officers or accident prevention plans for proposals.The training which is delivered by an OSHA-authorized trainers helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity.The course will be delivered over two days and covers both required OSHA topics and elective content tailored to local and industry-specific needs. The 10-hour training program is primarily intended for entry level workers and is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.Participants who complete the training will receive a temporary OSHA 10-Hour card at the conclusion of the course, with a permanent card issued within approximately six weeks. Training is conducted in a classroom setting and includes interactive instruction, safety planning, and key topics such as hazard recognition and site accident prevention.
