Please park in the overflow parking lot located at the MLK and Himes Ave. entrance. Volunteer assignments will be distributed on a first come, first serve, as needed basis. **Volunteer Tasks:Set-up/Break-down: Assist with preparing the event space before the event and helping pack up materials afterward.Tree Giveaway Volunteers: Help distribute trees and assist attendees with loading them into their vehicles.Plant Giveaway Volunteer: Support the distribution of plants and engage with attendees picking up greenery.Learning Garden Volunteer: Assist with hands-on educational activities in the garden space.Educational Session Volunteer: Help facilitators with setup, coordination, and attendee engagement during sessions.Renuable Station Volunteer: Waste sorting and education at Renuable Stations.Compost/Mulch Giveaway Volunteer: Assist with distributing compost and mulchCooling Station: Assist with providing information about urban heat and distribution of cooling materials.Floaters: Provide flexible support wherever needed throughout the event.Additional Event DetailsMore information will be shared as we get closer to the event.
