Arts Legacy Remix: Sixth Annual Juneteenth Commemoration

We recognize the importance of the date June 19th, 1865 – Juneteenth – when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, learned they had been set free. Join us for spoken remembrances, writings of historical importance and an original performance of music, poetry and dance created especially for this commemoration.
