With limited therapies available to eradicate her Leukemia, Ali passed away at age 13. Her legacy lives through the Ali Spears Foundation as they continue to raise awareness and money to fund pediatric cancer research.Ali’s family started her foundation with the hope of preventing other families from experiencing the same pain, suffering, and financial strain they had. The Ali Spears Charity Golf Tournament donates all proceeds to the Ali Spears Innovation Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
