The pairing of Steffan Todorović and Joonas Arro has accounted for some of the most consistent, no-nonsense clubby heaters to emerge in recent years. The two met in early 2018, shortly after which they formed Abdul Raeva; a project that would become pivotal in shaping a new wave of acid and progressive house.

Early 2025 saw the start of a new chapter for the pair, with the announcement that Gearmaster would become their central focus moving forward. Serving to create a more refined and versatile sound, the duo promise the same energetic style that they have become known for. Whether it’s shape-shifting psychedelia, spongy basslines or punchy grooves, fun is always the core element of their sound.
