Philly Joe’s kuulub suvi residentidele! Lava on Eesti noore muusikapõlvkonna tõusvate tähtede päralt — omanäolised bändijuhid ja värske helikeelega muusikud, kes juba praegu kujundavad siinse alternatiivskeene tulevikku.

Igal õhtul on uus fookus, kõla ja kooslus, alates uue materjali esmaesitlustest kuni kordumatute eksperimentide ja hilisõhtuste jämmideni. 

Kõlab jazz ja kõik, mis selle ümber tiirleb! Terve suvi Tallinna südames, Philly Joe's Jazziklubis! 


“Swing Dance Night!”, 27. august

Duo Tundmus on nostalgilise kõlaga vokaal-klaveri duo, mille moodustavad Gloria Elisabeth Jörberg ja Lisanne Pappel. Hetkel täiendavad mõlemad muusikud end Hollandis, Gloria jazzlaulu erialal Codarts University of the Arts ülikoolis Rotterdamis ning Lisanne jazzklaveri erialal Conservatorium van Amsterdamis. Eelmisel aastal andis Duo Tundmus välja oma debüütalbumi “Sleepless Nights”, mis valiti ühtlasi Raadio Tallinna 2025. aasta augustikuu plaadiks. Duo on esinenud Tudengijazzi festivalil ning tegi möödund aastal oma rahvusvahelise debüüdi Põhjamere ühel olulisimal jazzisündmusel, North Sea Jazz Festivalil container-laval.

Oma suveresidentuuri viimase kontserdi puhul võtab Duo Tundmus kampa Tallinn Swing Dance Society, et muuta Philly Joe’s palavaks tantsuplatsiks. Duo Tundmus Meets the Band koosluse esituses saavad kõlama tuntud swinglood, mis ei jäta külmaks ühtegi tantsijat! 

Ka eemalt nautlejatele oleme mõelnud, jättes saali mõnusad diivanid ja boksid, kust meeleolukat õhtut kogeda!

Each night brings a new focus, sound and line-up, ranging from premieres of new material to one-of-a-kind experiments and late-night jam sessions. 

Expect contemporary jazz and everything orbiting around it! All summer long in the heart of Tallinn, at Philly Joe's Jazz Club!


“Swing Dance Night!”, August 27

Duo Tundmus is a vocal-piano duo with a nostalgic sound, featuring Gloria Elisabeth Jörberg and Lisanne Pappel. Both musicians are currently pursuing their studies in the Netherlands: Gloria is studying jazz vocals at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, while Lisanne is studying jazz piano at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Last year, Duo Tundmus released their debut album, Sleepless Nights, which was selected as Raadio Tallinn’s Album of the Month for August 2025. The duo has performed at the Tudengijazz festival and made their international debut last year on the Container Stage at the renowned North Sea Jazz Festival, one of Europe’s leading jazz events.

For the final concert of their summer residency, Duo Tundmus joins forces with the Tallinn Swing Dance Society to turn Philly Joe’s into a scorching dance floor. Well-known swing standards will be brought to life—guaranteed to keep every dancer moving!

For those who prefer to simply listen and enjoy the atmosphere, the venue also offers comfortable sofas and booth seating.
