Public Comment Opportunity – J.R. Alford Greenway Management Plan Update

Leon County is updating the J.R. Alford Greenway Management Plan, which will guide how this 881-acre, 21-mile multi-use trail system is protected, maintained, and improved for the next decade. As one of Tallahassee’s most treasured outdoor spaces—and a critical link to the Lafayette Heritage Trail System—this update directly impacts future trail access, enhancements, and long-term stewardship. This is an important moment for the mountain bike community to show up, be heard, and advocate for sustainable trail development, protected riding opportunities, and continued investment in our trail systems. Your presence helps demonstrate strong community support.
