The Unity 5K is a campus-led community wellness and unity-focused event that brings together students, families, alumni, and community partners to honor the legacy of civil rights, health equity, and collective progress.

Starting Line: The Unconquered Statue | Finish Line: The Integration Statue
7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Event Sponsor Setup at Langford Green (Doak Campbell Stadium)- Sponsors should bring their own table and chairs.
8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Registered 5K participants check in by category: Runners, Walkers, and ADA-Compliant
8:45 a.m. - A Guided Community Warm-Up
9:00 a.m. - Unity Ceremony
A moment of reflection honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., civil rights leaders, and community wellness at Langford Green
9:25 a.m. – Tiered Participant Lineups by Category-
Runners line up first, followed by Walkers, then ADA-Compliant Participants
9:30 a.m. - Unity 5K Begins
The Unity Bell signals a wave to start by participant category
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. - Legacy Block Party at the Integration Statue
Celebration at the Integration Statue and Legacy Walk with music, food, and community activities
