Written by Michael Fewer one of Ireland’s most respected travel and nature writers, it’s the perfect invitation for explorers, history lovers, and armchair travellers alike to discover a strange and wonderful side of Ireland.

An architect and an academic, Michael Fewer is the author of 26 books and over 400 magazine articles. He was a consultant contributor to the Encyclopaedia of Ireland and has contributed to a considerable number of television and radio programmes, particularly Sunday Miscellany.
