One Day Course (8:30am-4:00pm)
This course focuses on basic operation and maintenance of the Steyr AUG.

We start with disassembly, cleaning, modification, and then basic manual of arms. We will utilize the KTS Kongsberg System primarily shot on the covered firing points on the 100, 200, 300, 600 yard ranges and the unknown distance steel range at Talladega CMP. For those not looking to “run and gun”, but still wanting to get more familiar with the AUG, this course is designed for you. For a faster pace, look for the AUG Operator Course.

Magnified optics suggested. Rental guns are available. Course includes lunch, class t-shirt, and other perks.

AUG Operator

Two Day Course (8:30am-4:00pm)

This course starts with basics, then includes focus on practical and tactical operation of the Steyr AUG.

We start with the AUG Marksman material on day 1 and progress through close quarters, barricade, and alternate position shooting on day 2. Students gain malfunction practice, experience moving targets, steel and reactive targets, and other fun drills. We have a good time getting a little dirty and getting more work out of the AUG. We will also utilize the KTS Kongsberg System on the 100, 200, 300, 600 yard ranges and the unknown distance steel range at Talladega CMP.

Optics with magnification capability and/or BDC suggested. Rental guns are available. Course includes lunch, class t-shirt, and other perks. Armorer course (scroll down) is discounted for Operator students, making a great 3-day option.
