- **Event Description**: We are back thanks to Auckland Council and their funding we are able to run two Rummage and Repair Workshops. 
We have rescued clothes from Second hand stores that were going to landfill and we need your help to give them a new home!

Rummage... come and rummage through our racks of clothes and take what you need.... all for free! It is mostly woman's clothes. 

Repair... we have a team of experts ready to help you upcycle or repair the clothes that we have rescued. We have been playing around with a few ideas that we think you will love. 

Our event will also be held alongside the monthly repair cafe, who also have a few volunteer sewers who can carry out any repairs.

*Sewing Machines will be available to use
*Guided hands-on experience - Great for teens and beginners 
*Simple sewing techniques for covering stains 
*Hemming pants or adding new buttons 
*Learn how to patch a hole on any clothing item
*Turn long jeans or pants into shorts giving them a new style
*Re-design T-Shirts into singlets
