The track will open for the first time at this event, so please wait until the fences come down before riding.

There’ll be plenty happening throughout the day, with facepainting, a sausage sizzle, coffee and hot chocolate, and ice cream from Harcourts. We’ll also enjoy a special performance from Red Beach School kapa haka, with activities and announcements shared as the event unfolds.

Nikita from Riders Ready Club will be on site offering free bike safety checks for the community, along with helpful advice on safety and etiquette on the pump track, beginner rider guidance, correct helmet fitting, and how rider flow will be managed to keep everyone moving safely.

You’ll also be able to watch local talent in action, with Justin Steyn and his son previewing how to ride the track on a bicycle, followed by Nick Humphreys and his team showing how it’s done on a skateboard.

It's going to be busy so if you can, we encourage you to walk with family, friends, and neighbours.

Bring your bike, scooter, or skateboard and be ready to ride, roll, and flow once it officially opens.

As the track opens, we expect lots of interest over the first few weeks, so please be mindful of our neighbours and keep noise and parking respectful.
