Meat Free Mondays are thrilled to announce the September destination on our plant-based world tour - Andalusia, Southern Spain, with Marco and Emilio, the chefs from Casita Miro!!!
Marco and Emilio have just got back from researching food and wine in Spain (a tough job but somebody had to do it). They've returned full of enthusiasm to share Andalusian cuisine and culture with us.
Central to the menu will be the quintessential Spanish dish PAELLA. They'll be setting up huge pans outside the Sustainability Centre to cook this in an authentic traditional manner.
They have chosen refreshing, creamy Gazpacho, an Andalusian specialty, as a perfect complement to the main dish - and so apt for the first day of Spring. And a special dessert which at this point they are keeping 'under their hats'.
They even have Spanish entertainment planned for us! Watch this space for details as they come to hand.
Everything will be planet-friendly plant-based and with chefs like these two you can be sure it will be mouthwateringly delicious as well.
