Join us for a free community art event to celebrate Matariki—honouring Māori culture, creative expression, and community connection.

Experience the magic of live demos by three exceptional artists, each with decades of professional experience:
? Natanahira Pona – A master wood carver celebrated for his deep connection to traditional Māori carving. His intricately crafted works tell powerful cultural stories.

? Valerie Cuthbert – A renowned printmaker whose work focuses on Aotearoa’s unique biodiversity. Valerie uses techniques such as lithograph, linocut, pronto plate, and drypoint. She also curates exhibitions that champion environmental awareness—her upcoming project, “Towards Predator Free 2050,” will feature talks, workshops, and exhibitions at Auckland Botanic Gardens and Estuary Arts Centre.
