Can you believe it is almost November... Christmas is just around the corner, and we are now being reminded about this constantly with Christmas crackers and ingredients to make that Christmas cake beckoning you when all you need is the weekly groceries!!!
It has also been a full-on year, a tough one for many businesses, an unstable one around the world and here in Aotearoa New Zealand and this made us think…maybe our final W3 event should focus on supporting you as we lead into the “crazy festive season” but also the beauty of Raumati/summer.
An exciting opportunity has arisen thanks to one of our very own incredible W3 wahine - Jess Stuart.
Calm Over Chaos: Navigating end of year burnout and surviving the Christmas Rush is an uplifting and relatable session designed to help wāhine/women and non-binary people navigate the stress, business, and emotional load of the holiday season. Jess shares honest insights, humour, and practical tips to help you shift from survival mode to a sense of calm and contentment, even when life feels full.
Offering tangible ways to reduce being overwhelmed, create breathing space, and reconnect with what truly matters. Audiences leave feeling seen, grounded, and inspired to approach the festive season with more ease, joy, and calm.
We have made this event incredibly reasonable with the hope it will make it accessible to all, and will encourage you to come and have a drink (wine or non-alcoholic) with us to finish off the W3 events for 2025 whilst also supporting our beautiful Te Whare Taonga o Waiheke/The Waiheke Community Art Gallery in Oneroa.
If you haven’t ever been to the Gallery or haven’t been recently, this will be an inspiring and entertaining evening, catch up socially, meet some new people, plus it’s a chance to see the Walker & Hall Art Award exhibition. The Gallery’s gift shop is also full of taonga/treasures that make stunning Christmas gifts.

Start time: 5.30 mix and mingle, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and nibbles, viewing of art, gift shop
6.15pm seated for formal part of the night
