Together, participants will be guided through games, waiata, storytelling and creative exercises inspired by mātauranga Māori and the themes of Matariki — remembrance, reflection, celebration, and dreaming for the future. 

Participants will then collaborate to create original waiata inspired by the season and the world around them. Whether you’re an experienced songwriter or simply curious to create, this workshop offers a playful and meaningful space to connect with music, language, and each other.

For ages: 10 years plus
Time: 3-4.30pm 
Cost: $12-$18
