?內容簡介
在當代社會中，大眾早已習慣於圖像與文字並行的閱讀方式。影像不僅輔助理解文字內容，更往往成為引導敘事、形塑觀點的重要媒介。這種圖文交織的閱讀經驗，並非數位時代才出現，而是奠基於攝影與出版媒介長期互動的歷史之中。

攝影照片與雜誌的結合，可追溯自19世紀末期，由於印刷術的進步，得以讓照片印在雜誌中作為插圖使用，因此不斷更新且依據時事而特別拍攝的攝影影像需求也逐漸攀升。但時至今日，那些原始正片幾乎已全數消失、未曾公開的攝影檔案，只能透過查閱雜誌而重現。這些被保留在雜誌中的照片，不僅讓我們得以補足過往僅基於現存正片來認識攝影師作品的片段認知；同時，也能理解並重建 20 世紀攝影師的實際拍攝情況。這些攝影師曾為當時的雜誌大量地工作，然而這些拍攝的影像卻幾乎不為人知或已被世人遺忘。

針對上述主題，本次展覽 #第二場專題講座，特別邀請本展策展人，法國國家科學研究中心榮譽高級研究員米榭爾．費佐先生，與觀眾們分享過往曾製作多檔以雜誌呈現為主題的研究展覽（巴黎龐畢度中心，1996年；巴黎歐洲攝影之家，2006年），以及針對多位著名攝影師，如：安德烈．柯特茲（André Kertész）、潔荷曼．庫勒（Germaine Krull）、亨利．卡蒂埃—布列松（ Henri Cartier-Bresson）報導活動的研究。甚至是關於找回一位至今完全被遺忘的重要報導攝影師加斯通．巴里斯（Gaston Paris）之數百件作品的研究（龐畢度中心，2019年）。

?講者簡介｜米榭爾· 費佐（1945-）
法國國家科學研究中心（Centre national de la recherche scientifique, CNRS）榮譽高級研究員、歷史學者、理論學者及攝影史學專家。他擁有物理學及藝術史雙學位，從1970 年代開始即為攝影史研究的先驅者之一。其權威著作《新攝影史》（1994，法文版、英語版、德文版）問世後，在學界聲名大噪。

費佐亦是法國藝術史學界第一位開課教授攝影史的教育工作者（1977）。當攝影逐漸在美國、法國與英國等地被視為重要媒介之際，他在巴黎四大、羅浮學院及巴黎高等社會科學院的教學深刻影響整個世代的學生，他的學術與教育貢獻至今仍具有無可取代的影響力。

自1980 年代以來，費佐不僅親自策劃且為眾多精彩展覽提供專業意見，致力於發掘傑出的攝影師及極具原創的主題。
