- **Event Start and End Date**: Mon, 19 Jan, 2026 at 03:00 pm
- **Event Description**: For English please scroll down

Join us for an afternoon of discussion and play on platform capitalism and commons-based alternatives to it.

We’ll take as one of our starting points the book Stuck on the Platform: Reclaiming the Internet, recently translated into Chinese and published by Rive Gauche Publishing. The author, Dutch media theory researcher Geert Lovink, will join us, together with artists, curators, and others from Taiwan who are working on practical and artistic alternatives to platform capitalism.

The conversation will be followed by a session of the performative board game Game-Changers: The Game, which you can join as a player, active audience member, or passive spectator. We promise it will be both sharply critical and very fun – quite the anti-spectacle.

? Game-Changers: The Game
Game-Changers: The Game is a storytelling-driven board game and a game co-design springboard that engages players and “peerticipants” in generative discussions about post-capitalist strategies and the mutually conflicting discourses that underlie the “new economy” buzzwords of the day, such as sharing, smart, circular, collaborative, regenerative and many others.

In the game, two teams that embody seemingly opposite discursive poles – for example Commonism vs. Capitalism, Green Growth vs. Degrowth, or the Hacker Class vs. Vectoralists – compete in creating compelling storylines about transformation in order to lay claim to playing fields consisting of real-world initiatives and related ideas.
