嵐馨樂團成立於 2005年，由來自臺灣各原住民部落的成員組成。「嵐馨」意指山嵐裡溫馨的樂音，融合阿美族、泰雅族、魯凱族的文化元素及團員們的生活經歷與
生命體驗，再混以現代流行樂曲風，致力從民族文化的基礎上，咀嚼自己的根。
「雨後的山頭，翠綠而清新的感覺往眼中漫延過來，一陣清風吹起，一抹由山谷中升起的雲霧飄來，好似一曲來自山嵐裡溫馨的樂音。」嵐馨樂團企盼呈現的音樂模式，能夠如同山嵐裡溫馨的微風，透過不斷的創作，將原住民各族群的音樂文化特色展現於世人眼前，這也是樂團名稱的由來。
而樂團的核心精神：「藉由音樂呼籲現代年輕人將文化持續傳承」，更期望所有在外工作的朋友們受到嵐馨音樂情感的渲染，進一步從個人生活與家鄉情愫之間產生聯結及共鳴，並透過音樂來「傳達」與「傳承」自身文化與生活的多元性。
