Want to discover the beauty of Mongolia's blue skies and landscapes? Do you wish to create long-term connections with the locals and give back to the community?

In 2026, we are organizing Khusvegi Camp at our newest location - Altai village in Bayan Ulgii province of Western Mongolia.This trip is in support of the Khusvegi English & Nomadic Culture Camp, which is a women-founded, community-led program that focuses on authentic travel experience where you experience living with the nomads while learning about their nomadic culture first-hand. As a way to support the community and forge lifelong connections, you will also be teaching English to the kids at our English summer camp in a very fun and interactive way that truly adds to your experience of knowing the nomads on a deeper level. You will learn, discover and grow as you experience an authentic transformation as a traveler. This one-of-a-kind Mongolian outdoor adventure awaits you!

The program runs from June 14 to July 12, 2025.

ITINERARY:

Cultural and adventure activities include: Day hike in Altai Valley with the students, cultural exchange luncheon with students and their families, local dinners with the local people, an Eagle hunting weekend trip, a weekend trip to Yolt Valley, participation in the Naadamn Festival, teacher socials, and more.

TRAVEL STYLE: This suits adventurous and outdoorsy travelers who don't mind basic accommodations and amenities. Activities will mainly involve cultural exchange, hiking, camping, fishing, eagle hunting, horseback riding, and all other outdoor activities that Mongolia is known for.

GROUP SIZE: 5-8 persons.

PRICING: $ 2750 

This is a community-led program. The funds go towards school setup costs, accommodations, transport, weekend excursions, activities, the salary of the local staff, program operation and administrative fees.

INCLUSIONS

Airport transfers from Bayan Ulgii.

English speaking local members of community as program guide & hosts.

Community and Program Orientation.

Accommodation and activities coordinators to assist throughout the duration of the program.

Local accommodation via homestay for the entire duration of the camp program.

Some meals during the program (typically locals may offer to provide lunches/dinners)

Teaching materials and amenities.

Weekend excursions, including accommodation and transport (Eagle Hunting, Naadam Festival, Day Hiking, and Cultural Exchange Social with the Local Families).

Meals during the program will generally on your own except when locals offer to invite guests for dinners/lunches.

Travel and emergency medical insurance.

Trip extensions such as the 5-day Altai Tavan Bogd National Park Hiking Tour, Yolt valley trek etc

Tipping to locals on weekend or day excursions.

Additional activities during the weekend excursions such as horseback riding, etc.

Personal expenses (laundry, sim card, etc.)

Visa fees
