- **Event Description**: Having studied English at the University of Arkansas before pursuing his career in medicine, David Jennings has written poetry since the late 1980s.  He has published work in numerous poetry journals and magazines.  David began pairing original photographs with poems over the past several years, and has now published four collections of photographs and verse.  His first book, The Smallest Hint, was the 2023 Oklahoma Book Award winner in the design/photography division.  His second book, Someday, Somewhere, was a finalist in the same category.  The Ashes was published in the fall of 2024, and his latest book, Dreams Like Mine, was released in the fall of 2025.  David works as a rehabilitation physician in Tulsa, and lives in Broken Arrow with his wife and daughter.
