- **Event Description**: The Metrobank Foundation’s 2024 Outstanding Filipinos, in collaboration with the AFP Triathlon Team, launched today the “Run For My Hero” project to be held on August 25, 2025 at the PMC/BNS Grandstand in a beginner-friendly, yet exciting Obstacle Course Fun Run featuring 5km and 3km categories. This event aims to foster holistic wellness (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness) while dedicating every participants races to their own personal hero.  

	The 2024 Outstanding Filipino awardees intend to encourage Filipinos to recognize their own personal heroes by dedicating (and simultaneously nominating) their race for them.   Every participant is allowed to nominate one person that they consider their personal “hero.”  The “hero” can be their parents, teachers, soldiers, police, public figure, medical health worker, or just any everyday hero that they believe is worthy of recognition.  

	There will be three nominees to be selected and will be awarded with a special prize on the main event.
