- **Event Description**: Join us for this two-day woodworking class to make your own cutting board!The perfect holiday gift for loved ones (or yourself!).

This class is designed to teach safe use of an assortment of power and hand tools to fabricate a laminated cutting board (yes, those pretty striped ones). This class will focus on shop safety and foundational woodworking techniques necessary for milling lumber, assembly, clamping, and lamination. This class will be a mixture of demonstration and hands on learning.

This class covers selecting and milling lumber, designing, laminating and clamping multi-jointed projects. ALL skill levels are welcome!

Schedule -
On Saturday, the class will focus on safety orientation, assembly, and gluing-up the boards.

Sunday will be dedicated to designing, shaping, and finishing the cutting boards. This two-day model allows glue to set overnight.

Instructed by Cori Shooter (she/her), Boat Shop Manager.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, January 17 + 18, (Saturday 10-1, Sunday 10-2)

Must register in advance!
