The Tacoma Police Department invites our community to come together for a meaningful morning of service at our upcoming Service Saturday event in support of our local veterans.

This event brings together officers, volunteers, local students, and community members to show appreciation for those who have served our country. It’s an opportunity to connect, give back, and make a positive impact—together.

Event highlights include:
• Bingo and refreshments
• Free 7-Eleven Slurpees
• Gifts of appreciation for veterans
• Health screenings by UW Tacoma Nursing students
• Fall prevention assessments by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health
• And more

We’re also looking for volunteers to assist in assembling our goal of 100 snack bags for veterans, including handwritten notes of appreciation for them and their families.
